Becoming Parents™ Program for Couples Transitioning Into Parenting
Learn skills to strengthen your relationship as a couple with tools to help you understand your new baby and become the parents you want to be. This eight-week group addresses the most common and problematic areas of concern for new parents including fatigue, stress, conflict-resolution, forming a healthy attachment with baby for both moms and dads, postpartum prevention for women and men and learning how to “read” your baby by recognizing and responding to baby’s communication. Get a head start to parenting with your partner and feel confident with yourself as a parent-to-be! Cost is $425 per couple. Max 6 couples.
Gottman’s The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work
This wonderful workshop is based on Dr. John Gottman’s book, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work and his 40 years of research with over 3,000 couples. The main goal is to help you strengthen your relationship in a variety of ways including:
- Fostering fondness and admiration
- Deepening your love maps
- Facilitating turning toward each other
- Accepting influence
- Solving solvable problems
- Overcoming gridlock
- Creating shared meaning
